18 TOTALLY STOMACH-TURNING REASONS TO READ FOOD LABELS

All this talk about making sure to read food labels and if we can't pronounce the ingredients then it's probably bad for us - means absolutely nothing if we don't know why.  Right?
Well, researchers have determined the origin of  18 Most Sickening Food Ingredients that is sure to help us in our quest to change our not so conscience eating habits.
Did you know that every day we may be eating foods that contain stuff called pink slime, ammonia, carbon monoxide and BPA?  If you're familiar with words like additives and preservatives, these are some of the chemicals added to food that according to the FDA are GRAS or "generally recognized as safe".
So should we just trust them to make decisions that keep us safe?
